Our Commitment

How mvph Keeps Gaming Safe

Responsible gaming is not a checkbox for mvph — it's a core part of how we operate. Here are the six pillars of our safe play programme.

Strict 21+ Age Verification

Every mvph account goes through mandatory KYC verification. We verify your government-issued ID and date of birth before any real-money gaming is permitted. No exceptions, no workarounds — underage access is blocked at every entry point.

Deposit & Loss Limits

Set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit caps directly from your account dashboard. Once a limit is in place, it cannot be raised immediately — a mandatory cooling period applies, giving you time to reflect before increasing your spend.

Session Time Reminders

mvph sends in-session notifications to let you know how long you have been playing. You can set custom session time limits so the platform automatically prompts you to take a break when your chosen time is reached.

Cooling-Off Periods

Need a short break from gaming? Apply a cooling-off period of 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. During this time your account is suspended from all real-money play, and the restriction cannot be lifted until the period has fully expired.

Self-Exclusion Programme

Players who feel they need a longer break can request a self-exclusion of 6 months, 1 year, or a permanent exclusion. Self-excluded players are also cross-referenced with the PAGCOR national self-exclusion registry to block access across all licensed platforms.

24/7 Support & Referrals

Our support team is trained to recognise signs of problem gambling and respond with empathy. If you or someone you know needs help, we can refer you to professional counselling services and PAGCOR's responsible gaming resources — no judgment, just support.

Player Tools

Your Controls, Your Choice

Every mvph player has access to these tools directly from their account settings. You are always in the driver's seat.

Deposit Limits

Control how much you can deposit over any given period. Set a daily limit of as low as ₱100, a weekly ceiling, or a monthly maximum. When you reach your limit, deposits are automatically blocked until the period resets. Requests to raise a limit take 48 hours to take effect — a deliberate buffer to prevent impulsive decisions.

Loss Limits

Set a maximum net loss threshold for any day, week, or month. Once your losses hit the cap you have set, play is automatically paused for the remainder of that period. This is one of the most effective tools for keeping gaming within a budget you are genuinely comfortable with.

Session Time Limits

Choose a maximum session duration — 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, or a custom value. When the timer runs out, a reminder appears on screen and, if you have opted for hard limits, your session ends automatically. You can also view a real-time clock showing how long you have been playing in the current session.

Reality Checks

Enable periodic reality check pop-ups that show your net gaming result for the current session. These prompts are designed to interrupt auto-pilot play and give you a moment of honest reflection: how long have you been playing, how much have you won or lost, and do you want to continue?

Cooling-Off & Breaks

Apply a short-term break of 1 day, 7 days, or 30 days. Unlike self-exclusion, a cooling-off period is temporary and resets automatically. It is ideal when you feel you need a brief pause but are not ready to commit to a longer exclusion. All active bonuses are frozen for the duration.

Self-Exclusion

Request a formal self-exclusion for 6 months, 1 year, or permanently. Once activated, your account is locked and cannot be reactivated during the exclusion period — even if you contact support to request it. mvph also reports self-exclusions to the PAGCOR registry, which extends the restriction across all PAGCOR-licensed operators in the Philippines.

To activate any of these tools, go to Account Settings → Responsible Gaming after logging in to your mvph account, or contact our support team directly at [email protected]. All limit requests take effect immediately; only limit increases are subject to the 48-hour cooling period.

Know the Signs

Recognising Problem Gambling

Gaming is entertaining for the vast majority of Filipino players who enjoy it as a leisure activity. But for some people, gambling can become problematic. Knowing the warning signs is the first step toward getting help — for yourself or for someone you care about.

Problem gambling does not always look the same. It can develop gradually, often without the player noticing the early stages. The signs below are commonly associated with gambling that has moved beyond casual entertainment and begun to have a negative impact on a person's finances, relationships, or mental health.

If you recognise three or more of these signs in your own behaviour, we strongly encourage you to use our self-exclusion or cooling-off tools, and to reach out to a professional counsellor. You are not alone — help is available.
Spending more money on gambling than you can comfortably afford to lose
Chasing losses — betting more to try to win back what you have already lost
Gambling for longer than you originally intended, session after session
Feeling restless, irritable, or anxious when you are not able to gamble
Hiding your gambling activity from family members or close friends
Borrowing money — from family, friends, or lenders — to fund gambling
Neglecting work, school, family, or personal responsibilities because of gambling
Using gambling as a way to escape stress, anxiety, loneliness, or personal problems
Feeling guilty or ashamed after gambling sessions but continuing anyway
Making repeated unsuccessful attempts to cut back or stop gambling on your own

Self-Assessment

Quick Self-Check

Take a moment to reflect honestly on your gaming habits. This is not a clinical tool, but it can be a useful starting point for self-awareness.

Read each question honestly and consider whether it applies to your gaming behaviour over the past 12 months. If you answer "yes" to two or more questions, it may be worth talking to someone you trust or using mvph's responsible gaming tools.
1Have you ever gambled with money that was meant for essential expenses like rent, food, utilities, or transportation?
2Have you ever felt the need to gamble with larger amounts of money to get the same level of excitement as before?
3Have you ever lied to a family member, partner, or friend about how much time or money you spend on gambling?
4Have you ever returned to gamble again shortly after a losing session with the aim of winning back what you lost?
5Has gambling ever caused you to miss work, school, or an important family commitment?
6Have you ever felt that gambling is something you cannot control, slow down, or stop — even when you want to?
7Have you ever felt depressed, anxious, or in a low emotional state and turned to gambling to feel better?
8Has a family member, close friend, or colleague ever expressed concern about your gambling habits?

This self-assessment is for reflection purposes only. If you are concerned about your gambling, please contact our support team or use the responsible gaming tools in your mvph account settings.

Our Obligations

What mvph Commits To

As a PAGCOR-regulated gaming platform, mvph operates under binding responsible gaming obligations. These are not optional — they are legal requirements that form part of our licence conditions. We take them seriously, and here is exactly what you can hold us to.

1
Mandatory Age Verification

We verify every player's identity and date of birth before activating their account for real-money play. No player under the age of 21 will be allowed to deposit or wager on mvph. Our KYC process meets PAGCOR's standards for player identity verification.

2
Honouring All Self-Exclusion Requests

Every self-exclusion request submitted to mvph will be activated promptly and honoured in full. We do not contact self-excluded players with promotional offers. We report exclusions to the PAGCOR registry as required under our licensing conditions.

3
Responsible Marketing

mvph does not target vulnerable players, self-excluded players, or individuals under 21 with promotional materials. Our advertising is designed to appeal to adult entertainment — not to exploit susceptible individuals or present gambling as a route to financial security.

4
Staff Training

Our customer support team receives regular training on how to identify signs of problem gambling, how to interact with at-risk players with empathy and professionalism, and how to guide players toward the help they need — whether that is our in-platform tools or external counselling services.

5
Transparent Game Information

Every game on mvph clearly displays its return-to-player (RTP) percentage, betting limits, and paytable information. We do not present misleading "near miss" scenarios or suggest that past results influence future outcomes. The odds are always clearly stated.

PAGCOR Regulation: mvph operates under the regulatory authority of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR). PAGCOR's responsible gaming framework requires all licensed operators to implement player protection tools, enforce age restrictions, and maintain self-exclusion mechanisms. For more information about PAGCOR's responsible gaming programme, visit PAGCOR's official government channels.

Responsible Gaming Reminders

Before you play, it helps to keep these principles in mind. They are the foundation of a healthy relationship with gaming:

  • Set a budget before you start — decide in advance how much you are comfortable spending and treat it as entertainment, not an investment.
  • Never chase losses — if you have hit your session loss limit, stop. Chasing losses is the most common way a single bad session becomes a serious problem.
  • Balance gaming with other activities — gaming should be one leisure activity among many, not the only one.
  • Never gamble under emotional distress — stress, sadness, anxiety, and anger impair judgement. If you are going through a tough time, this is not the moment to play.
  • Keep gambling and finances separate — never use borrowed money, credit cards, or funds set aside for bills and essentials.
  • Take regular breaks — even if you are on a winning streak, step away periodically to stay grounded.
  • Talk openly with people you trust — sharing your gaming habits with a trusted person keeps you accountable and makes it easier to spot when play is becoming problematic.
